Sandeep Goyat Always Gives His Best: Will be seen in 'Akhada' as a Lead Character
Chandigarh - Sandeep Goyat who comes from Meham, a small city in the state of Haryana. Completing both his schooling and college from Rohtak, he had been actively participating as the audience of theatre. Many of his friends were doing theatre too. Theatre was something that fascinated Sandeep. The echo of the claps left a long lasting effect both on the ears and heart of Sandeep. This effect was so strong and deep that he finally talked to his father about being an actor after his graduation.
Talking about his decision of choosing acting as his career, Sandeep says," I was always advised by my friends to do modelling as I had a good physique and personality yet I chose to be an actor because I felt it would help me explore myself."
The point of time that compells you to choose between two of the most important things always decides your future. Sandeep ,earlier thought of pursuing a master's degree with his acting career. But as suggested by his father he could follow only one path to be successful in the coming future. After a long time of thought, Sandeep decided to go for acting.
Talking to his friends and seniors who are professional theatre artists Sandeep then went to Delhi for giving a kick start to his acting career. He believes that one must first complete his schooling and then go for college. That is why he chose to go to Delhi first and Mumbai on the second step. Sandeep joined "Act 1 Theatre Group" in Delhi which ranks in one of the best theatre groups in India.
"Theatre is a good addiction",says Sandeep. He had come to Delhi with the thought of doing theatre for maximum one year being unknown that he would have a beautiful experience of 5 and a half year in the world of theatre. He addresses these 5 years as the best 5 years of his life as he could live many lives being in his own life. The number and varieties of roles that he played helped him develop his professional profile.
Mumbai welcomed him with his first movie'G Kutta Se' directed by Rahul Dahiya. His second movie was 'Guddu Rangeela' directed by Subhash Kapoor. Sandeep also gave his contribution in working on the Haryanvi dialect coach in this movie. Here, he played the role of the younger brother of Ronit Roy. Sandeep is also seen in the short film-'Yatharth' ,directed by Mayank Pratap Singh which is released on MX Player and a long short film-'Ahasaas' ,directed by Vivek Deshwal which is released on Chaupal app.
Sandeep will soon be seen as a lead character in the upcoming series 'Akhada' written by Sanjay Saini and directed by Ashu Chhabra. This series will be released on the Stage App. It is an emotional journey of a middle class wrestler belonging to an extremely poor family who stands as a metaphor for all the struggling wrestlers of Haryana and poor sportsmen on the whole.
Sandeep is heartly thankful to his family and friends who have been showing great support to him throughout his journey. He has covered many milestones and many more are yet there to go.
